There is something fascinating about monotony. You tend to believe it to be a bad thing, but somehow it is inescapable. No matter where you go, or what you do, it could happen that you get stuck in a situation that has you bored. The biggest challenge is not falling asleep during those situations. Even if you know that your entire rent, food and other payments depend on the sufficient implementation of that very task you are amazing at, eyes always feel heavy when you stare at a computer screen long enough.
No matter how much coffee you throw into your system, it does not seem to really help. What solution is there to fight this issue? More coffee, of course. Is it effective? Not really, but at least that circle of tasks takes you out of the monotony and adds variation. Maybe today I will attempt to drink a quick espresso, or perhaps take my time and enjoy a cappuccino. To be honest, I have no idea what the difference is, as I just drink coffee out of habit than anything else. Keeps me awake as long as possible until I hear the non-existent alarm that tells me I can head home.
