Somehow the nicest moments at work are those short breaks where you can talk to various people throughout the office, maybe meet some brand new people, or just keep up contact with those you already have known for quite some time. Getting to know people around the office is always an interesting thing to do, as you need to strike the right balance so that you do not annoy the wrong people. I mean, pen guy over there could become a strong adversary in the battle for the stationary that our boss is trying to hog all for himself. No one can defeat us if we unite our powers, well maybe, pencil dude, as he is pen guys mortal enemy. I mean have you seen those two go at each other's throats? One lunch they spent the entire time comparing what type of stationary was the greatest at signing something, which pen guy won by erasing his enemy's signature with an eraser. The look on the guy's face was kind of hilarious, I will most certainly not deny that fact.
The other day I actually had a chance to talk with ninja girl, who still seems to be stalking me at times now and then. Somehow I have gotten use to her powers, so I tend to pay more attention to what is going on around me, maybe my own ninja skills are starting to develop as I mature into a full office person. Well, perhaps not my ninja skills, but I have gotten quite good at organising my desk at this point. My stationary is on point every time my boss drops by, he seems quite surprised at how tidy it is. No, not really, it is a mess, I just wanted to seem better at what I am doing than I am in reality. At least I have some kind of hope and I am working towards that day when my boss will actually pass by and nod once he sees the ultimate desk, an exemplary desk indeed! I do nothing more than dream all day, I might have an issue, or two.
